Miller's Antiseptic Oil

One of many snake oil imitators was this early 1900s bottle of Miller's Antiseptic Oil, embossed on the front with "Known As/Snake/Oil.". Next to the bottle is a mounted specimen of a Diamondback Rattlesnake such as was used (along with eastern Timber Rattlers, apparently) to make real snake oil. (Gift of Dr. Robert M. Price.)
