Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a form of alternative medicine developed by German physician Samuel Christian Friedrich Hahnemann (1755?-1843). It is based on principle of "like cures like" (that is, that a substance that produces certain symptoms in a healthy person will relieve those symptoms in a sick one). It is also based on the "Doctrine of Infinitessimals" (the notion of using the smallest dose possible). Indeed, dosages are so diluted that not even one molecule of the original substance may remain!
