Carved from milkwood, this "baby spirit figure" sculpture, like other sacred artworks, relates to the time of creation which the Australian aborigines call the "Dreamtime" (or "the Dreaming"). (About 97/8" tall; purchased in Australia by Joe Nickell, 2000.)
