Rabbit's Foot
Carrying a rabbit's foot as a charm is supposed to bring exceptionally good luck (although the rabbit it belonged to was obviouly not so fortunate). Rabbits and hares were associated with witchcraft, since a witch's familiar (or spirit agent) could supposedly take such a form. Just as it is said that a black cat crossing one's path is unlucky, a rabbit passing in front of a person is held to be fortunate (although one passing behind is another matter).
Rabbit's-foot keychains, like the one displayed here, often have the fur dyed some bright color to make it visually appealing.
